1. Knew you will come

Today, on June 4th finally I found out a park which attracted me to itself, Victoria Park located on Lonsdale and Keith rd,Sometimes it's hard to explain some feelings but honestly as soon as I entered the park , My eyes stairs to only one bench between all other benches located on park, There was something special about the bench spot, Something unique,It was completely different from other spots in the park, And had a different energy around it, An energy that was almost like a voice that comes out from the bench and asked you nicely to sit on it, It was like the bench knew i am coming somehow weird but still wonderful, the bench was black made of iron almost 1 feet high and 3 feet wide with an inscription plate dedicated to Roda Draganic 1925-2005 “Rest in heaven with angels remembered with love o brad” cold and wet from the yesterday rain yet with warm and comfortable feeling as you sit on a bench, You feel like you stuck on it like you and the bench are the same and could view everything the bench will observe daily,

2.Observation From Sitting on Bench

I see freshness,beauty,the ray of sunshine between the long branches and wide leafs of a Japanese maple trees, A pathway made of tar between the bushes and colourful trees which some are red, some are purple and some are green, The melodious sound of birds and crows peacefully and freely flying and chasing each other in the endless blue and calm sky that made you to taught deeply about the world and its way of creation, A pleasant nature with red,yellow and white flowers between the trees in the specific order with almost an incredible smell that spread throughout all the park with a cool and fresh wind that touch your face almost like mothers soft hand fondling your face.lots of people doing different things in the park like one Chinese old woman reading a book while sitting on a bench, Some young people laughing and barbecuing in the grass, Some are playing volleyball,Soccer,.. Kids are running after each other and yelling to each other, Group of mothers walking in the park with their babies stroller,There is a stone statue in the middle of the park which had made for memorial of Canadian soldiers who are fought in WW1 and WW2 and their “Glorious of death” which always be immortal. The observation of nature by sitting on a bench and observe how beautiful and wonderful it is made you to feel calm and freshness,therefore by closing your eyes and listening to the polite sound of nature and soft tone of birds and wind voice makes you to feel independence and reborn. Thus sometimes i think this is so sad how some people could ignore this beauty and not spending their time in nature. So I want and wish to everyone pay attention to the detail of nature, not only observe it as a place for having fun because natures are the best sources to find out your philosophy of life and learn the knowledge of life.

3.True Happiness  

I would have like the bench to be face with the ocean because of the grandeur,Glory,Purity and surrounding by the nature because of its beauty,Emotions and positive energy you could get from breathing between trees where a lot of people passing by there, I want my bench to be made of wood and stone and by people seats there,They can watch the beauty of sunset and sunrise in the horizon orange and pinkish sky, Made them think and laugh about all the problems they pass. It would make people to rest while enjoying the pleasant view of ocean and kids playing with sand, Watching young couples standing in the beach and waiting for the waves to touch their naked feet with almost lowed voice of laughing and love. I would like the inscription plate says “Live,love and laugh” Because throughout all the up and down in my life I have learned that happiness is the most important thing in life so I want people who read my plate to always laugh even in hardest situation and experience the true love which is the pure happiness. I just want my bench to somehow make other people happy and after I gone I could have left something that at least bring a smile to people's face.

4. My Most Important Person In My Life

If I dedicate a bench, I would have placed it in the top of the mountain but not very high one where easily you could observe the vast and roundness of the earth,Where you could easily hear the eagles sound in silence, Where you could sit and think in the peaceful and quiet area also by opening you hands and standing at the edge of the mountain with a close eyes be able to imagine flying while listening to the sound of a wind and birds. I want a waterfall to be around the mountain where lots of different animals could come and drink water,The bench should be surrounded by incredible nature and trees , I want the bench to be made of cheddar wood and stone and has the closest view to sun and moon, I will be dedicate this bench to the important person in my life who was always be there for me, My mom F.J (Fariba Jamalzade) and want the inscription plate to say “The best thing happened in my life was to be born as your son” I wanted to be at the top of the mountain because my mom loves mountains because of their symbolize as strong and glory. She always told me that she wants to visit a huge mountain that could see the moon and sun as the closest way possible, She loved to seat and think for hours while birds sound make her to feel amazed. She loved to spent her time in nature and talks to trees because she believed that nature is a true knowledge.

  

5. Journal To Found a Park

The sunlight between the small gap of certain beside my bed made my eyelids to open immediately,I looked at outside while my eyes was still half close and I was shocked because the weather was clear and sunny, I had a great sleep the last night therefore I was so energized and happy, thus I decided today is the best day for starting the English project, I went to my phone and start looking for a park near my house which I found Victoria park. It was around 1 o'clock, I put all the necessary stuff in the bag and without checking the bus went out to catch it but unfortunately I missed that bus and start walking down to Keith rd where Victoria Park located, It was a really hot day as you could feel the heat coming out from the ground and your sweat is coming down from your forehead, There was a lot of people without shirts running up and down the Lonsdale Ave, Finally after coming almost 15 block down I arrived to Victoria park looks like a person who had been jumped to the water, My clothes were completely wet but as I arrived to the park the freshness of the air and the cool wind made me to forget anything and sit on the bench under the tree shadow and start my project right away.

Poem “The Forests Blessed Abode” by Belinda Stotler, Talks about the beauty of a nature,Emotions and feeling it gives you and its observation about purity of a nature and describe it in 4 different seasons and speak about the massages that nature will teach you, Therefore as my bench is part of observing the nature and the beauty of it. I tried to mostly show the beauty and pleasant of a nature yet by sitting on a bench and observe that.

The Forests Blessed Abode

Come walk with me into the forest's blessed abode,

To see the wondrous beauty the Earth has bestowed;

We'll bask in the surreal splendor that surrounds us,

And listen to nature composing the forest's grand opus,

As sounds of whispering trees and burbling streams,

Send our minds wandering into a poet's lovely dreams.

We'll walk where sunlight sets the forest's leaves aglow,

Weaving open paths to dapple golden light on all below;

Where trees shade us from summer heat and harsh rays,

Freeing our minds so we can see Mother Nature's ways,

Of creating nurturing sanctuaries for life dwelling there,

To shield its tender wards from storms too hard to bear.

Come sit beneath the glowing embers of an autumn tree,

Whose rich hues are a natural wonder many come to see,

While colorful leaves glide down in a whirling course,

Like embers breaking loose from their flaming source,

Glowing for a moment as if falling to their ending fate,

Instead, nourishing Earth for rebirth into a new state.

The wintering forest seems to be a still desolate place,

Yet, under the snow and autumn leaves of a tree's base,

Beats the promising pulse of new life that patiently waits,

For spring's warmth and rain to open wide nature's gates;

Roam with me under the trees standing strong over it all,

To watch them quietly sleep until nature's beckoning call.

Let us stroll in spring's forest where we will reap,

The joy of Earth awakening its children from sleep,

And hear life's chorus and watch its offspring grow,

As waking trees renew their canopy over all below;

Come share with me the forest's spirit at rebirth,

So we too are reborn within this temple of Earth.

Every now and then let us answer the forest's call,

To come see life's beauty and the miracle of it all;

If we listen with our hearts as we walk among trees,

We may understand the message carried on a breeze,

For us to blend with the forest's spirit so it will beguile,

Us into walking under its lovely trees for just a while

7. Personal Philosophy of Life

The important part of the philosophy of life I believe in is to deeply think about the concepts of life,Death and nature and as nature is the study of how life acts and interacts within the circle of existence, One who is attuned with nature is attuned with the practice of living. Therefore it's really important to spent time in nature because in this way we could attuned to its philosophy. This is what the poem also try to say the nature is include a lot of secret knowledge and wisdom Which you only could learn them by being in nature, Therefore those lessons will help you on understanding the better concept of life and a pathway you chose to step in for decide how and with what goals you want to live.





8. Purpose of park

There are a lot of different purposes of parks such as communication which parks provide a place for people to communicate with each other in nature not on phones or …, this allows people to develop the sense of communication and know each other better in the area they live together as neighbours. Parks are provide an entertainment for young kid to come and play at nature rather than their electronics , Have some physical activities by running after each other rather than sitting and playing video games. It also made a air to be clean so by having lots of parks in the city the pollution of air will be increase and the chance of getting cancer or other diseases that develop from uncleanness of the air will be decrease. It also make people to connected to nature, and by spending time and paying attention to the detail of nature could change the way of looking at life,Therefore parks are the important places in the city that could not be replaced with anything else and its provide a really fun time for families to spend time with each other and enjoy the beauty of life yet nature.

9. Graduation

An unforgettable journey

Full of laughter and sadness

With a sweet and memorable memories

After years and years hard working

Graduation is here finally

They calling my name to enter the scene

But its not finish yet

The biggest part of life just started

So shall we see what will happen next
