Legalizing marijuana in canada moving further

Today's vote between senators sends a bill back to house of commons,where members of Parliament will decide whether to accept the dozens of amendments added to the legislation by the Senate.the vote had been expected to be close and Trudeau government moving on wednesday to make sure the support by assure indigenous senators concerns about bill that perjured more resources to mental health and addiction services for indigenous people in canada.
Justin trudeau claimed that he will make the marijuana legal by this summer which will make the canada to be the first g7 nation to legalise recreational use of the drug.
Canadians especially the young people are the heaviest pot smoker among the world.
Ottawa also said legalize pot under the new regulation regime will make it easier to keep it away from young people and to exclude organised crime of drug money and reduce the liability of police and justice system.
My observation of this event is by legalizing marijuana the government could control distribution of it and be assured about the purity of the pot but in other side it will provide a free drug use among canadians which somehow might not be a good action for society, according to the researches about the effects of cannabis on brain and providing a mental disorder such as Schizophrenia to people
