considering the title of this news  make us  think about  how a prom dress might  effect an individual life as a way that its traditional history behind it will make some people furious and upset.
Keziah daum a teenager who  decided to wear a dress that would stand out and be uniqe on her prom night, so she decided to wear a traditional Chinese dress which according to her was "absolutely beautiful" faced with criticism of Chinese people who felt offended toward her choice.one of her chinese friend after seeing her picture with the dress commented that " my culture is not your....prom dress" lam also tweeted that "foe it to simply be subject to American consumerism and cater to a white audience is paraller to colonial ideology",the tweets that has been shared over 42000 times accusing her of cultural appropriation but some people commented that "in no way being discriminating or racist"also Ying li commented " i am a Chinese woman . i supported you. you rocked that dress"
in my opinion those people who accused her for cultural appropriation were so bias about her choice , she just wanted to have a unique prom dress but faced with furious of Chinese people who views this act racism and discriminative,which is really not fair because cultures are beautiful when their known by other cultures so other people could enjoy and learn some valuable things from other cultures.
